Geist Plastic Primer is a strong adhesion promoter used when recolouring hard plastics in car interiors like switches, centre console, glove compartment lids etc.
Instructions: Clean the plastic surface with Geist Degreaser D1 or Degreaser Pro D3 then lightly sand the surface with fine grade sanding pad that does not
.
scratch the surface. Wipe off any dust with a dry microfibre cloth.
Test: Apply a strip of masking tape to the clean and sanded plastic surface. If the tape
does not stick, then degrease again and sand again until the tape sticks. Spray the Plastic Primer thinly over the surface and dry with warm air.
Adding 2% Geist Crosslinker to the Geist Plastic Primer increases the adhesion on
difficult plastics. Spray paint evenly with 2-3% Crosslinker in the paint. Finally spray
two or more coats of Geist top coat mixed with 5% Geist Crosslinker.
